Ok, so more like herb farming on the dock, but you get the idea. We were on top of it this spring and planted a healthy selection of herbs in a window box out on the dock. It was simple - a cheap used plastic bin from Value Village, another one from Target for the mint (mint takes over), some bagged soil, and a group of starts. We planted mint, parsley, thyme, lemon thyme, dill, cilantro, and rosemary. It's been great - the plants don't mind the salty air and enjoy the extra light coming off the water everywhere.
Do you farm (some might call it gardening) on your boat? Inside? Outside? On the dock? Let us know how it works for you...Yum. ~Paul & Amber ETC
