Everyone's Travel Club is out and about kayaking Seattle's lowest tides of the year around Discovery Park. This is the largest park in Seattle, an awesome place to hike and kayak (that is if you can carry your kayak on your back down the trails towards one of the beaches). It has great views of the Olympic mountains and the volcano! (Mount Rainier in the picture above). We started the adventure by taking our two-seater and one-seater Innova inflatable kayaks down the trails from the parking lot to the beach (maybe a mile or so). Let the tide pool exploration begin! Time to put these guys together. Surf's up! It got a little windy until we rounded the point. Underwater camera? Check. Yep, that would be a "kelp tail" connected to our kayak...for no reason really, it seemed like a good idea. Danger! (I didn't get stung nor were any jellyfish electrocuted in the taking of these pictures...wait a second, eels electrocute...nevermind). I wonder which boat this is... Back to land and hiking back to the car! ~Paul, Joe, Amber E.T.C.
