Dear Washington state Coast Guard,
Good idea! Stickers to add to your kayak, canoe, or whatever so if it (the kayak that is) blows off your deck, boat, or whatever you can just give the owner a ring instead of starting a full-blown, search and rescue operation because you found an empty kayak. We here at the club have added them to the Innova fleet.

I'm will the USCG-Aux 5N03 SO-VE and unable to get any sticker for our area. Was told that we may get some in late Sept. Can you help me ?

Sorry to hear! I picked mine up from our local Puget Sound Coast Guard at the Seattle Boat Show last Janurary. Also, some other local retailers were given some (like the Seattle REI).

I also read on another boating blog, "Anyone who wants a sticker but is unable to get one from a retailer can call Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound at 206.217.6200 and arrange to get one through a local Coast Guard Auxiliary flotilla."

Maybe give them a call even if they're not in your area?
